A crazy season lies behind us. There were many ups and downs. So the last race also promised some action. In each class several teams could still fight for the winter championship. So was our GT3. Again with a very strong performance, Adam was able to qualify in second place, but was unfortunately moved to the end of the field due to a penalty. Nevertheless it was enough to confidently secure the GSI Prime Award in the GT3 PRO. Congratz on that!

In the race, the team continued its previous performance and was able to fight its way back to the front of the field during the first hours. At the half-way mark, the car with Nico and Adam was already sitting in second place and did not relinquish this position until the end of the race, which meant that we were also able to secure second place in the winter championship. In the overall standings combined over the fall and winter season, the Lamborghini took home 3rd place. That is an absolutely satisfying result for us.

Unfortunately, our LMP2 was less fortunate. We've been struggling with the qualifying pace all year. Though our race-speed often looked relatively good. That was also the case this time. Although we couldn't quite keep up with the top times, we were much closer to the top 5 in the race than in qualifying.
So after the restart to the last safteycar phase we found ourselves in 3rd place. Then the misfortune started: unfortunately we could not avoid a spinning car in front of us, which caused massive damage to the front of our Dallara. We had to go to the pit lane for two minutes repairs. Despite a strong recovery towards the end of the race, we still weren't rewarded as our fuel cut out to one lap. In the end, a disappointing 8th place in the race remains.

Since we had already sat out the race in Interlagos, it was clear that we would not have any word in the championship. In the end it's a 12th place overall within the winter season and 11th place in the overall standings.

We thank IVRA and GSI for the series and happily look forward to next year. 💪

It's that time again. The 24-hour race from the Nürburgring is coming up. For us it is the first race after quite some time here on the Ring.

We start with two BMW M4 GT3. The setup-work on the car went well and we go confidently into the race. But similar to Mount Panorama, the top priority here is to leave the car at one piece.

What a performance by our Soloman Adam, getting the double victory on a very difficult race track, especially where overtaking is that hard in a reversed grid. 💪💪

Our BMW did not have that much of luck, with a disappointing Quali on P15 and therefore stuck in traffic. Though Chris and Max made the best of it in race one, finishing on P9. The second race was full of accidents and incidents. Unfortunately, the #155 could not avoid twice and ended in a pileup. The second time the suspension broke and we had to park the car.

The #105 now sits in P2 in the standings. Everything open. 🏁🏁

As we all know, after the race is before the race. So we are going on the road again today. Yesterday in a Porsche, today in a Lamborghini and BMW we will race twice around the clock in the narrow and winding Long Beach.

The track demands a lot from the drivers, including many bumps and the constant danger of contact with the barriers. We're sure to see a lot of accidents here, so goal #1 must be to get the car over the entire distance. That should be an interesting affair in the reversed grid.

For the Lambo, Adam is going to solo it this time, while Max and Chris share the cockpit of the BMW.

For Chris it is the first official race with the team after a longer break. We are happy to have you back on board!

Today we start the final race of the SCO season. As you have noticed if you followed our social media over the last couple of months, the season went anything but according to plan. Several unfortunate, as well as self-inflicted incidents make this season for what many would call a "learning season".

With Joao Aranda Sousa (and Mat Dench) two new faces have recently joined the team. The former will tackle today's race along with Nico Carnemolla.

As always, we will give everything to make a conciliatory end to this season possible! 💪

It's a podium for our #255 machine here in São Paulo, who strikes back after the heartbreak that was round 1 at Watkins Glen. In a hectic yet safety car-free race, Constantin and Adam kept it clean and consistent and brought it home for P2, bringing important championship points into the third and final round at Road Atlanta.

All in all, this puts the #255 in a strong 3rd position in the GT3 pro standings with one race to go, so let's give it everything for the final round in just over a months time💪👊

Another slightly disappointing round of the @sportscaropen endurance series, as a mistake meant we weren’t able to make the most of an otherwise good day with strong pace in the car.

Up until the final scheduled pit stop of the day for our #155 machine, the pace was looking strong. Fighting for a top 10 position, we made an unfortunate error in the closing stages of the race, giving us a costly stop go penalty. Coming up to the pit stop, there was a mistake in communication which forced us to cut across the grass coming onto pit road. This of course meant iRacing handed us a stop go penalty for an unsafe pit entry, dropping us all the way down to the edge of the points in P15.

An unfortunate result to an otherwise strong weekend, but we will try to take away the positives and come back even stronger for the 6th and final round at Watkins Glen🏁

Another strong weekend for our #105 Lamborghini in the @ivraleague Hyperx GT Sprint Series sees us finishing both races in the top 5, including a podium in the tricky reverse grid race 2. After a solid first race where Adam and Rune managed to bring it home in P5, they had a rough start to the second race from their 16th grid slot. An unfortunate incident in front of us left our car with nearly 3 minutes of optional repairs, as well as a significant time loss. Nevertheless, our boys managed to pull off a great recovery drive despite the damage, and brought our #105 Huracán GT3 across the line in 3rd. We would eventually be promoted to 2nd, due to a penalty for another team. All in all, this puts us in a strong 2nd place in the overall standings.

Unfortunately our #155 BMW entry was unable to start this round, but we hope to have it back on the grid for round 3 at Laguna Seca💪 🏁

What can we say? Our heart is broken. 😔 After an unbelievable good team performance, a very strong pace, where everything looks like a podium for both cars, the second and therefore last Saftey Car shortly before the end of the race becomes our bad doom.

Our #255 not only secured pole position, but was also able to set the pace for large parts of the race. At the restart from the last Saftey Car period, just 15 laps before the end of the race, a competitor lost control of his car and Adam had nowhere to avoid and on top of that was torpedoed from behind by another competitor.
The broken suspension caused a completely undeserved retirement.

Our LMP2 suffered a yet so different but close fate. After the initial start mishap, in which we lost a good minute to the leading group, we were able to get back into the fight for a podium thanks to the first safety car. Third place seemed to be safe after the last pit stop and shortly before the end of the race until the second Saftey Car came out. Unfortunately we had to invest a lot on tires to close the gap at the restart of the first Saftey Car, which of course put us at a disadvantage now. No more grip on the tires, caused a slight contact with the wall, which resulted in a loss of top speed of about 5 kph. Thus in this narrow field we have been cannon fodder for those behind us. To top that, we then fell victim to a gigantic netcode that finally put an end to our hopes of a good placing 4 laps before the end of the race.

In the end it's a saddening P9 for the GT3 and a P8 for the LMP2. 🏁

Victory in the second split for Adam and Nico! What a great result. Congratulations to both of them. The staying power and the absolute will to achieve something good here is incredibly impressive. ✌️

Unfortunately, this is only a small consolation on the renewed banquet of the racing cut and thrust.
Again, the races were marked by completely unnecessary and over-motivated incidents. We competed with 3 cars in a total of 4 start attempts, unfortunately we were victims of netcode or overcome opponents, 3x within the first hour. Only one car saw the checkered flag at all.

And this is only a description of our races. If we take a closer look on other streams, one really wonders what's going on with people at the moment. 😒

Unfortunately it has to be said: the racing standards in iRacing currently are a pure disaster!
You can't talk it up anymore & it's about time that something changes. Because the way it is right now is really not enjoyable anymore. 👎

A Lap Around series continues.

This week at the glorious Mount Panorama Circuit. With the iRacing Bathurst 12h there is no better fit, so we decided to give it a go.

First of all thanks to the OSR team for this phenomenal race and the organization. Also the fact that the Australian crème de la crème took part is showing, this race was not just "any" race, but probably the biggest self-organized race "down under".
But how exciting has it been? It clearly showed again that Saftey Car phases add a whole new dimension to endurance races and we can only recommend other leagues to make use of this feature. The strategic aspect comes completely to top and displaces pure pace.

So after an initial collision that resulted in us being in 40th place at the start of the race & two laps down, we were still able to move up to 5th overall at the end thanks to a brilliant strategy & clean driving.

That was an outstanding performance by the team. We didn't give up, kept pushing without taking too many risks and made the best possible use of the Saftey Car phases.

So we are really happy with the result 🏁💪

Let's keep on rolling on this one.

Not the race result we hoped for. The streak of bad luck in the SCO doesn't seem to end. Right at the start of the race we suffered quite a big damage at the front, which cost us a lot of speed.
Just as we were starting to resettle, we fell victim to an over-motivated LMP in Pouhon, which gave us the rest.
Adam and Nico could only hope for one or the other retirement before us, which happened eventually. At the end of the race we finished 16th and were second to last GT3, out of 30 started in the class. At least in our opinion, that's a few too many retirements.
